Ch 5 show viewers videos at the end of the news at 5pm so 05.55pm.
A number of times I have thought maybe a number of us should put something together a 5min video but well made to show us in a good light.
http://news.five.tv/ they will also pay you £100 if they use it!
We tend to hide behind bushes too often and it's only the ones that call us scum etc that get heard.
It would possibly be good to do it soon maybe to screen on Monday night before the broadcast of PARANOIA.

Look at this US video the guy at 4.20 Robert Mitka sounds British to me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blsH8bhYgbY

Footnote
The last thing that anyone with any legal right wing political affiliation wants is pictures of them on the internet wearing German uniform! :)

Typical! Another biased witch hunt by a reporter whose credibility IMHO is in tatters after his not dissimilar (& barely newsworthy!) persecution of the Scientologists in the U.S..... During which I might add he was made to look incredibly stupid! LMAO!

Not that i'm defending the media or anything... but wasn't it the Scientologists who were persecuting him?

Yeah i've seen that - in his defence (again) if I was trying to make a TV show and some strange blokes were spying on my every move i'd get a bit "cherry faced" still not the most professional move for a TV reported though i've never really thought too highly of journalism or television.

Then again Scientology is proven to drive people mad - Tom Cruise is perhaps the best example.

Indeed am sure most of use would as you say get cherry faced ;) the point of the matter is he is - and I use the term in his instance very loosely - a journalist, trained to rise above it all and tantrum well away from a camera, the point is the person is the story and not yourself and thus you should refrain at all times from spouting off like a loon yourself as your story then becomes awash and missed in your own rampaging glory ;)

And for your in his defence he can hardly complain about being spied upon when indeed that is what he bases his career around ;) whats good for the goose is good for the gander. I hate double standards in this pc namby pamby society  and as much as I don't know anything about scientology nor do I want to, I appreciate why they turned the tables and made him look a class 1 nutter.

Searching for ways to continue debate... FAIL.

Well I look forwards to reading the reviews from this program, as it appears i'm working on monday night (and i've not seen a blank VHS for the video recorder in about five years!).

Excellent debating!
Funnily enough, while we are discussing a program yet to be broadcast we know exactly what the content will be like!
I wonder whether it will be wise to watch it - I'll only get cross  (just like I never read newspapers on principle  ). Still, almost the entire population of the UK won't watch it either - and drumming up a contrary public viewpoint will only serve to draw attention to the program. Best to let it sink into oblivion?

I think the irony of this programme is that the most people that will watch it will be those that partake in "dressing up" be they as axis or allied. The general public may watch it but I bet non of it sinks in and no doubt it won't change anyones opinion, considering many already think the way Mr Sweeney is trying to get across to start with, so seems to me as a wasted exercise ;) . I'm just hoping as said that the wedding isn't used in the clip as thats not on at all  and yes I will get cross cos its just wrong on so many levels and I got cross at a similar portrayal of friends who were recorded at a biker wedding and then branded hells angels

It will sink into oblivion am sure I read somewhere Porta heard something on his local radio station about the VCR bill and no doubt with that due to be implemented properly at the beginning of october (1st ?) this will be yesterdays chip paper come that time ;)

Thats the point Ewart, the mates I was talking about ride bikes, and whilst they aren't hells angels and I do know bp members not necs with that club even as a female bike rider some people assume we're all the hollywood biker hell bent on drinking (ok so I like a drink) and causing trouble. Far from the truth and as you said doesn't matter what you do theres always a minority factor that ruin things for the rest.

I have bigger fish to fry in the bike world and bp members aren't them its the stupid idiots that risk other peoples lifes with dangerous antics, I don't care about them darwinian selection should have its own, it the shame that they always take someone else with them thats innocent and that is currently tarring everyone on a bike with the same brush.

As an asside seeing as the discussions interesting and moved onto pigeon holes  I saw an interesting in Macdonalds where the staff are asking the public to change the dictionary definition of a macjob as they feel it belittles them ...

Ah well that clears that up, this forum isn't real, infact non of you are, its all part of my disturbed imagination  as of course if nowhere (field)would have the German forces you can't possibly exist

See me being picky would have had a pop at the person who used the word field to pigeon hole all the airsoft sites but then I just like annoying the fluff out of people til they internally combust and laugh at their expense

No idea really on O levels as they were 3 years before my time :D and I sat GCSEs in the days when they were just hard  (no I don't actually know that am just making myself feel better  ) I do know fact when in its infancy (obviously GCSE's were as were going back 15 years) that papers then were standardised and you could only acquire the maximum grade from your paper. Thus if you were in the top set and did paper one and got 100% you would get an A but if you were in a lower set say 3 and got 100% you'd get a C oh and the papers were the same :? well at least they were at my school wtf is that all about utter nonsense.

The government love pigeon holes, I worked for them for 5 years in an erm interesting job and they pigeon holed society .... except for themselves who were of course the ultimate exception

i was the second year of gcse`s, there were brought in cos to many kids failed o levels,

i failed all 7 of my GCSE`s

still hasnt stopped me bluffing in to jobs,

by the time youve done 5 - 10 years in the workplace , school grades mean sweet FA anyway

a good degree in a relevant subject (not drama, art or football coaching) is the only real qualification that counts, o , a levels , and gcses dont really matter after your first few years "on the job"

all they help employers do, is sort out the lazy bastards (who dont care to get even a grade e), from the people that try (the people who get the 5 of the a to c grades)

come on i didnt even sit an exam in one subject and got a grade f ,for 3 months out of 2 years coursework

all my grades were e,f,g and i sat no exams, just course work

the only UNCLASSIFIED i got was computer studies, no exam sat, and one title page saying "my project", and an end page saying "the end" , that i submited just to piss the teacher of, two years of work, = two pages

and shit loads of playing elite on the BBC micro

school was great , thinking about it now

they do that lewis, because now its a leuge table, if you wont pass they wont enter you, looks bad on the school, WHAT A BUNCH OF C***S

if your going in the army , it wont matter mate, they let you sit a test that will find you level of intelligence, and give you a job in line with your result.

so dont sweat it mate.

my school were so pissed of when i went in , aged 15 with a guaranteed job in the army (had to do selection at sutton colefield with adults, for a limited number of vacancies), in the 80`s the army was OVER SUBSCRIBED

now (due to the cronic manpower shortage) they take anyone with two arms and legs ,(even NON-UK citizens) so youve no worries mate

just do as best as you can on the test, it opens up more career paths for you the better you do

They just had enough of me ,also my school had a good place in the 'league table' the sods  Well they are paying for my college   and i am doing about 4 trades so that should rinse them,i am going to the careers office soon, and i heard that the BARB test is peace of piss and if you fail that then you are a plank

advantage now of the forces is you'll actually leave with a practical qualification rather than nothing as and a pat on the back. NVQ's are used all over the shop now and are classed more important in the work place than gcse's thats why you get a nice piece of paper to say you can use a stapler now  oh and one to say you can use a pen, one to say you can turn a computer on and off etc etc  ps I don't like NVQ's  load of ticking of boxes (yes I have 2 so I know how truely useless they are  )

I don't rate terrestrial TV at all The BBC1 and ITV mirror each other (I.e pointless "talent" shows), Channel 4 has never been any good and I don't think we bothered to tune our TV to watch C5. No wonder there planning on replacing the TV license with one for Computer users in 2017!

I hadn't heard about the computer licence idea!
However I personally think Ch4 & Ch5 are better than BBC1 ,2 & ITV1 put together.
Both Ch4 and 5 have good documentary programs Time Team for Ch4 etc and Ch5 have a lot of WW2 and weapons docs.
Ch5 has some of the best American shows like House.
The BBC where so stupid they shut down the worlds most favourite motoring show Top Gear, so the program was snapped up by the not so stupid Ch5 to make 5th gear (even if they lost Clarkson in the move), at least the BBC woke up again later on.

Both BBC1 & ITV1 are not much more than soap and game show TV.

CH4 has its game shows like Scrap Heap Challenge so I know what I want to watch.

The news tends to be less biased on Ch5 and maybe Ch4 while ITV1 sensationalises everything to the extent of making things up and lying!

Ch5 also shows films maybe as much as 2 years ahead of BBC1 and ITV1 take Saving Private Ryan for instance.

BBC1 still makes good programs like Dr Who and Life on Mars but CH4 also funds British films.

Hey but lets not get into all this, I have only said this because knocking Ch4 and 5 seems to go on a lot and there isn’t much basis for it unless you like the soaps on the other channels. :?

True there is a few interesting program's but nothing to justify spending £god knows how much on a TV license from my perspective. I guess I should think about others, i'm sure alot of people love these "talent" shows and Big Brother... or not.

Life on Mars and Dr Who represent two third's of the television I generally make an effort to watch! The other being on Sky One.

of COURSE ILL PAY A COMPUTER LIECENCE

LIKE F*** WILL I :raspberry:

ill just use , next doors wireless broadband for free, (they have no router security  )

i can see them enforceing that one, oh yeah, "have you got a computer",
"yes but its out of order, its no hard drive" (removed and stached b4 you open the door )

but all this is irrelivant, as without a court order they wouldnt get a foot in the door anyway,

i dont see computer licences being enforceable at all
